He called Kirk “a martyr for truth and freedom” who devoted his life to liberty, democracy, justice, and the American people.
Trump said Charlie was respected by youth more than anyone, a man of deep faith, and now at peace with God. He asked for prayers for Charlie’s wife, Erika and their two young children.
