Is Vox RACIST? Is he based on TRUMP? Hazbin Hotel Season 2 -

Did you notice this in Hazbin Hotel?

During episodes 5 and 6 of season 2 a bunch of vox’s lines came across as very odd, with a few being blatantly racist. Why is this? Let me explain.

So during episode 5 and 6 we see a new side to vox, he goes mask off on a few occasions.

He performs with his maracas which annoys val, carmilla and velvette.

When val speaks spanish vox says he can’t speak his island language.

Voxtek loves women in stem

He threw an 8 out of 10 dancer in his performance for diversity reasons.

His whole campaign is a 1 to 1 copy of someone else’s campaign that came before him, which was lilith’s.

If people didn’t catch on to the bit already they definitely did after his songs. He talks about making hell great again, when the angels show up he says they’re going to silence him.

And during his song he says he’s the furor. This means like an anger or fit of rage. But it sounds identical to the german word fuhrer, used for the dictator of germany.

So obviously combined together these are obviously some cheeky references to trump and the broader context of american politics.

So were these deliberate? Yeah i’d say so.

Sam haft who made the seasons songs confirmed that the fuhrer lyric was an intentional reference.

Back in June vivzie said that the season was written 2 to 3 years ago, however she wrote vox as a cartoon villain and now that’s real life. She wrote a demon manipulator wanting to gain power and that’s what happened. She didn’t think it would be real right now.

Personally i thought these were really funny. It’s the cherry on top of vox’s cult leader persona.
