Guthrie update: Ransom deadline passes as Savannah pleads for public help

“Today” host Savannah Guthrie posted a video Monday, saying the family believes Nancy Guthrie is “still out there.” “We are at an hour of desperation,” she continued, “and we need your help.” Guthrie’s possible abductors demanded $6 million by 5 p.m. Monday, CNN affiliate KGUN previously reported, citing a purported ransom note sent to the station. The note included a threat to Guthrie’s life if the deadline isn’t met, according to KGUN.
