Sen. Marsha Blackburn Pushes Fraud Crackdown Bill Targeting Immigration Loopholes

Senator Marsha Blackburn discusses new legislation aimed at cracking down on fraud schemes tied to immigration loopholes and broader taxpayer abuse. She argues that current laws allow certain fraudulent activity to avoid deportation thresholds and says her “Fraud Accountability Act” would treat all fraud as a deportable offense.

The proposal would also speed up immigration-related fraud cases by allowing them to be heard in federal courts and potentially strip citizenship in cases of naturalization fraud.
