CNN’s ‘incredulous story’ on two teenagers who ‘somehow ended up throwing bombs’

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue calls out CNN for running misleading stories.

“How do such incredulous stories manage to just filter their way through this massive organisation that’s supposed to have an army of fact checkers and apparently some sort of editorial standard,” Ms Krakue told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“This was trying to paint the story as two random teenagers from Pennsylvania just going for a stroll, ending up in New York, and somehow throwing homemade bombs.

“It turns out that they’d actually pledged their allegiance to ISIS and that they were not just two random teenagers, but they were actually terrorists.

“There’s no real actual diversity; this is diversity of thought.

“This is the kind of story that really shows the rot in CNN.”
