The New Year is off to a stellar start for Jenna Bush Hager. The NBC News personality has officially welcomed Sheinelle Jones as her permanent co-host for the newly rebranded fourth hour of Today, titled “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle,” which premiered on January 12, 2026.

In addition to her hosting duties, Jenna is expanding into scripted television. Her production company, Thousand Voices, recently secured its first scripted pilot order from NBC for a drama titled “Protection.” The series follows a family of law enforcement agents—drawing on Jenna’s personal experiences with the Secret Service—as they navigate a deadly conspiracy. Jenna serves as an executive producer on the project alongside Josh Safran (“Quantico” creator and showrunner) and Ben Spector (“Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico” executive producer).
