Trump mengatakan AS akan “mengendalikan” Venezuela hingga terjadi “transisi kekuasaan yang aman, tepat, dan bijaksana”.

Namun saat ditanya bagaimana tepatnya AS akan melakukannya, ia tidak memberikan rincian.

Trump juga mengatakan perusahaan-perusahaan AS akan masuk ke Venezuela untuk memperbaiki infrastruktur minyaknya dan “mulai menghasilkan uang untuk negara tersebut [Venezuela]”.
